Harrison, Albert

HARRISON – Albert Harrison age 75 years of Shaunavon, Saskatchewan passed away peacefully at his home on the farm on January 4, 2016, following a lengthy illness.
He was born in Shaunavon on July 8, 1940. He took his early schooling at Instow and continued his education in Shaunavon.  He married Myrna Beeson on April 1, 1961 and together they took over the family farm and started a family.  Working over 40 years in the cattle industry as an A.I. Consultant he dedicated his life to taking care of his customer’s needs, even taking their quarters in a good game of stockyard rummy. He was a hardworking man, loved animals, and his family meant everything to him.
Albert was predeceased by his parents George and Mabel Harrison and his brother Ed Harrison.
He is survived by his wife Myrna, his daughter Linda Horn (David), granddaughter Jennifer and grandson Evan (Jessie) and great grandsons Dekkar and Kixtyn. His daughter Julie Fisher (Kelly), granddaughter Chanda and great grandson Camden; grandson Devan Fisher (Ruthie) and great granddaughters Eva and Willow. His sister Irene Anderson of Kamloops, B.C., brother Sid Harrison of Vancouver, B.C. as well as by numerous nieces and nephews.
A Private Family Interment will take place at Garden Valley Cemetery at Instow, Saskatchewan at a later date. Binkley’s Funeral Service of Shaunavon (www.Binkleys.com)  was in charge of the arrangements.
