Small Ammonia Leak
Posted on September 8, 2014 by Maple CreekMaple Creek Fire Department, RCMP and ambulance responded to an alarm at the Maple Creek Community Arena at 10 p.m. Sunday night. Believing there was an anhydrous ammonia leak, but not knowing the extent of the leak, firefighter Darcy Chmilar (right) sent away any curious bystanders as a safety precaution. It turned out the leak was very minor and no one was in imminent danger.
