Isabel Jean (Nuttall) Gordon

GORDON – Isabel Jean (Nuttall) was born on January 24, 1931 to Jim and Mary (Lambie) Nuttall and was raised on the Nuttall ranch southwest of Maple Creek. She passed away on Saturday, June 9th, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Isabel married Frank Gordon on April 7th, 1951 and they raised 4 children on the Neil McDougald farm south of Maple Creek. She was predeceased by her parents Jim and Mary Nuttall, her parents in law Bob and Dot Gordon, by one son Robert Aaron in 1967 and by her husband Frank in 1988.
She is survived by her sisters Rosemary (Lou) and Amy (Ellwood) and by her children Gary (Betty), Marylyn (Harvey), Ray (Marianne) and Ron (Faye). Her grandchildren Aaron (Debby), Craig (Natalia), Tanis (Robert), Karli (Chris), Emmy (Derek), Janelle (Jamie), Robert (Alanna), Rachel (Jeff), Mike (Jodie), Kyle (Mariah), Ben (Maria), Jeff, Graham and Allison. Her great grandchildren Randen, Dawson, Makenna, Paden, Brynn, Lincoln, Easton, Camryn, Ethan, Clara, Ashlyn, Evan, Harper, Leland and Alex. Also, by her 2 nieces Shannon (Tony) and Shari (Lance) and her 2 nephews James and Jim (Devon).
A funeral service was held in the Maple Creek United Church on Friday, June 15, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. with interment in the Maple Creek Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy can be made to the Maple Creek United Church or the Jasper Cultural and Historical Centre, Maple Creek.
