A house in Fox Valley is a total loss after a fire on Monday (April 19) evening. Fox Valley fire department received the call at about 7:30 pm and by the time they arrived on scene, the house was fully engulfed.
Firefighters from Richmond and Haven Colony also responded to the call, with the Colony and the RM of Enterprise supplying much-needed water.
Keri Hudec, from the Village of Fox Valley office, said all the firefighters who responded “were amazing”.
The family that resided at the home are all safe and no injuries were reported.
Firefighters remained on the scene throughout the night and some, including fire chief Kent Glass, remained at the site on Tuesday morning.
Hudec also noted that ladies from the community provided the firefighters with lunches and coffee.
