Taking flight

Matt Udal prepares for a solo flight in a Cessna 172 as part of his flight training with Super T Aviation Academy on Saturday. The Medicine Hat-based school is offering a flight school in town through the Maple Creek Flying Club, with about a dozen people signed up. They must complete 45 hours or more, which will have students in the skies until at least the end of the month. Because of the excellent response, another class may be held in the fall if interest continues to grow. Photo by Marcia Love
