Emeregency Awareness Day at MCCS

The Maple Creek Fire Department demonstrates how to extract a victim from a car wreck using the Jaws of Life during an awareness program at MCCS on June 6.

The session for grades 11 and 12 students offered information on alcohol use and trauma, with members of the RCMP and EMS speaking to students as well. Residents of Okimaw Ochi Healing Lodge also spoke about lifestyle choices that led them into difficult situations.
