Provincial Champs!

Reese Mackie, Sarah Beierbach, Brette Tully, skip Payton Fisher and Coach Heather Fisher.4-H Provincial curling playoffs were held in North Battleford over the weekend.
The Southwest Region was represented by Junior curlers from the Reno Multiple 4-H Club – Reese Mackie, Sarah Beierbach, Brette Tully, skip Payton Fisher and Coach Heather Fisher.
They competed in the Junior Age category at Club level, District Level and Regional Level in order to be able to represent the Southwest Region at the Provincial playoffs.
There were 9 junior teams and 8 senior teams competing from all over the province. The girls played a total of seven games in two days. On Saturday they won their first 2 games but lost in the “A” final. This dropped them to the “B” event. On Sunday, they won the “B” semi-final and the “B” final. They won their first game against the “A” winners, so they had to play them again as they had to beat them 2 times. The girls trailed by 3 coming home, but played an awesome final end to score 5 for the win! The final score was 7-5.
