WENZEL – Keith was born August 31, 1965 in Maple Creek Saskatchewan, he passed away on September 24, 2015 at the age of 50.
He leaves behind his loving wife Maggie Wenzel, children Kim, Devon, Bryton, Christian and Dwight and granddaughter Alexis “Peanut”. As well as his mother Evelyn Wenzel, brothers Kelly and Gene and sisters Kathy and Karen along with many other family members and friends to numerous to mention.
Dad grew up in Consul, Saskatchewan where he farmed/ranched along side his late father Melvin Wenzel. In 1986 he purchased his first piece of land. He married the love of his life and best friend Maggie in 1988. Dad worked on the farm/ranch along with his children and brother Kelly. He was an avid member of the community and always went out of his way to help people whether friend, family or stranger.
Dad was a family man. You could always find him surrounded by his kids. Working with them, joking around and going for drives in any one of the vehicles on the farm. He was a very proud grandpa and always had so much love to give when his “peanut” was around. His wife Maggie was his true soul mate and best friend. They shared a once in a lifetime kind of love that through good times and bad only grew stronger each day.
He loved to be out doors that’s where he was always most comfortable. Camping, fishing, boating, being on the snowmobile, walks with his granddaughter, and going for drives with his wife and children were some of his favorite pass times. Dad would talk to everyone and it came natural no matter what the subject or who you might have been. He told great stories over morning coffee and always made us laugh. Our dad was an amazing man who will be greatly missed and loved forever. This isn’t goodbye dad this is until we meet again. We love you to the moon and back.
