KLEMKE – It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our brother Phoenix Irwin Klemke, age 84 years,who passed away on May 13, 2016 at the South West Integrated Healthcare Facility in Maple Creek Sask., which was his home for so many years.
A graveside service took place on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at the family gravesite in Memory Gardens Cemetery, with Rev. Annette Taylor of First United Church officiating.
He was born in Swift Current, Sask March 22, 1932, the second child of Gladys Urma Klemke (nee: Phoenix) and Martin Klemke, and was baptized at the United Church in McMahon, Sask. Suriving are: brother Dale Klemke and his wife Greta and family, Richmond, B.C.; sisters: Jean Bentlely and family, Richmond, B.C. and Fay Herrick and family, High River, Alta. Phoenix required long term care for many years.
The family wish to express their deepest appreciation to the medical professionals and exceptional staff for their many years of loving care at the integrated Healthcare Centre in Maple Creek, Sask. Warren’s Funeral Home were entrusted with the arrangements.
