Schattle – Martha 1925 ~ 2018
Mrs. Martha Schattle, beloved wife of the late Mr. Willie Schattle, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, January 10, 2018, at the age of 92 years.
Martha leaves to cherish her memory: two sons, Claire (Lorna) and Neil (Faith); three grandchildren, Billie-Sue (Richard) De Bruijn, Russell (Marla) Schattle and Steven (Melanie) Schattle; six great-grandchildren, Raef, Winston, Burke, Landis, Eric and Evan. She will be lovingly remembered by one brother, Ben (Evelyn) Heizelman as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with Willie, Martha was predeceased by her parents, John and Christina Heizelman; brothers, Tom (Elizabeth), Ed (Bertha), Richard and Emil; sisters, Bertha (Fred) Rabe, Ruth (Casper) Lehman, Laura (Bill) Duncan and Elsie (Jake) Kinast.
Martha was born in Big Stick, Saskatchewan on October 8, 1925. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all those who had the privilege of sharing in her life.
Relatives and friends are invited to share in a time of visitation with the family at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 – 13 Street S.W., Medicine Hat on Thursday, January 18, 2018, between 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. A Private service and interment will follow at a future date.
