The order was issued on Saturday morning after a break at a fire hydrant on Harder Street resulted in the town shutting off the water main.
This depressurized the line, and when the water was turned back on the safety of the town’s water supply could not be guaranteed as dirt in the lines could have been disturbed.
Daily water samples were sent to a lab for testing, and the town received word on Tuesday there were no problems found.
Saskatchewan Environment then lifted the boil water order on Tuesday morning.
