Sharp, Mel

SHARP – Mel was born in Shaunavon, Sask. on Sept. 13, 1937. He passed away in Maple Creek where he had lived for the last 60 plus years on Dec. 6, 2014.
Mel is survived by and will be missed by his wife Gail, sons Bruce (Shirley), Brian, Aaron (Theresa), daughter Jennifer (Kurt); grandchildren Jessica (Steve) Kirby, Amber (Tyler) Steinkey, Jamie Sharp, Taylor and Sydney Sharp and Jarod and Breanna O’Toole; great grandchildren Lincoln and Koa Steinkey and Beau Kirby; brother Terry (Anne) Sharp and sisters Betty Ann Havers (George) and Ardella Schulz and many nieces and nephews.
Mel was predeceased by his mother Clara, father Carl, brothers Jack and Howard; sisters Nancy Ryall, Carol White and a daughter Debbie.
A memorial service was held in the Salvation Army with Captain Ed Dean officiating. Mel has been cremated and is resting at home on top of the china cabinet.
