Raymond, Margaret Elizabeth (nee Dakin)

RAYMOND – In loving memory of Margaret Elizabeth Raymond (née Dakin) who passed away in Sundre Hospital, Wed., Nov. 9 at the age of 101 years.
She was born in Pilsbury, near Page, North Dakota on Oct. 1, 1915. Moving with her family to the Carnagh district at an early age.
On June 30, 1936, she married Cecil Raymond, who passed away July 12, 2002. They farmed in the Manville district south of Piapot, until 1957 when they moved to Medicine Hat. They then moved to Olds where Cecil passed away in 2002.
Margaret resided in her own condo in Sunrise Village until she entered the hospital in late June.
Her love of music, horses, farming and knitting is passed on to her family.
She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Louise (Burdett) Bystrom and Beth (Ed) Lemke, six grandchildren, Sheryle Bolduc, Sharlene Jennings, Sharmane Hindbo, Shawna Norrad, Jim Bystrom and Michelle Lemke; she also left 12 great-grandees and 12 great, great.
She was predeceased by her parents Martha and Albert Dakin, Wesley, Donald and Lawrence Dakin, Ethel Rodgers, and grandson Mark Lemke.
A memorial was held in Olds and burial in Medicine Hat.
